Tasta Nursing Home is a geriatric nursing home with room for 145 patients and 25 day-care users. We are the largest privately-run nursing home in Stavanger, Norway, although we are funded by the Public Sector.

We have a large multi-professional staff consisting
of nurses, assistant nurses, doctor, assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapist and priest as well as administrative, catering and technical staff.

We have a large number of foreign workers and welcome people of all nationalities. If you are a resident of the EU or European Economic Area, you have an automatic right to work in Norway. Otherwise you can apply for a work permit. Professional qualifications often need a Norwegian authorization. Foreigners also have an automatic right to a free language course in Norwegian, sponsored by the Norwegian State. Please get in touch with us if you would like more information.

We have modern buildings where each patient has their own private room with bathroom. We have a specialist department for 24 patients with dementia.
